Everyday I speak to new mums or women that are about to become new mums, and there is one thing I’m sure they’ve on their mind….is newborn photography worth the investment?

So I ask….what’s important to you? Is it purchasing the latest greatest pram (which you’ll most likely list on gumtree or ebay in a couple of years time), the best and most elegant cot (which your child will grow out of extremely quickly), or something that is more personal, something unique to you that will last your whole lifetime and beyond!

For this family, investing in images like these, was their top priority and as far as I’m concerned, rightly so! Having beautiful portraits that document the complete newness that is your baby is priceless, you will never grow tired of them, nor will they go out of fashion!

These portraits often become my clients most treasured possessions. How do I know this? Because, I still have clients from 20 years ago tell me so!
