{What’s in my bag} Noosa Photographer
So what’s in my bag you ask? What equipment do I use?
Well…..to say I have a stack of amazing equipment would be a lie….reality is I use a small quiver of gear and for good reason too, for I believe less is more!
I have one main camera body and three go to lenses that all produce amazing quality images. This very equipment has won me a stack of awards at the AIPP state and national levels!
Every 12 months my equipment is fully serviced by industry professionals and I regularly complete in house testing to make sure everything is running as it should be!
Besides the equipment listed below, I have a variety of tripods, filters, and other accessories. I also update and or add to my quiver, so this list changes regularly!
1. CAMERA SYSTEMS
Starting with camera bodies, I use two full frame Nikon D800 camera bodies and a Nikon D750
I also have a third (cropped sensor) camera body (which has actually had a photo published on the front cover of an Australian magazine) but I don’t really use it anymore…so its got to go!
2. LENSES
These days I only purchase high-end professional quality lenses to get the best sharpness, contrast and saturation straight out of camera. My main lenses kit consist of these:
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II Lens
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8G ED Lens
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.2 Lens
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 105mm f/2.8G Macro Lens
Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG Lens
3. LIGHTING
I am a natural light photographer but also have lighting equipment and remote triggering systems just in case:
Nikon Speedlite SB-700 Flash
Spot Light YN216
Hahnel Tuff TTL Transceiver and Receiver (Black)
Hahnel Captur Transceiver and Receiver (Black)
4. WORK STATIONS
iMac 27-inch Desktop
Macbook Pro Laptop
5. SOFTWARE AND COMPUTER ACCESSORIES
A stack of 64 and 32 Extreme Pro SanDisks (Memory Cards)
A bag full of Eneloop (rechargeable) Batteries
Adobe Photoshop (Latest Version)
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom (Latest Version)
Wacom Intuos3 4 x 6-Inch Wide Format Pen Tablet (PTZ431W)
