Proposals Options

Surprise Noosa Picnic Proposal & Photoshoot!

(Your partner doesn’t know about either)

  • Before the Day: Noosa Picnics will be your main contact for arranging the time and location. I’ll confirm the details with them directly.
  • On the Day: Noosa Picnics will text you the exact location so you’ll know exactly where to go.
  • Your Proposal:
    • Guide your partner by the hand, stand near the picnic, take all sunglasses off, and set aside any bags.
    • Share a few heartfelt words and drop to one knee. Hold this pose longer than usual so I can move closer and capture all the magic as it unfolds.
    • NB: If you have a canopy setup, do not stand inside it – I need a clear shot of your partner’s face and reaction!
  • After the Proposal: I’ll introduce myself and may suggest a quick re-enactment or additional captures to ensure we get a beautiful variety of images. I’ll then leave so you can enjoy your picnic in private.

Surprise Proposal & Photoshoot!

(Your partner doesn’t know about either)

  • Before the day: We’ll discuss and set a time and location for your couples’ photoshoot, so you’ll know exactly where to find me.
  • On the day: Walk casually to my location – you’ll spot me with my camera (pretending to take photos of other people). Come within 5-10 meters before proposing. My lens is good but not magic – I need you fairly close for sharp photos, especially in cloudy conditions. Further than 10m = poor detail and grainy photos.
  • Your proposal: In an open area, share a few heartfelt words and drop to one knee. Hold this pose longer than usual so I can move closer and capture all the magic as it unfolds.
  • After your proposal: I’ll introduce myself and may suggest a quick re-enactment or additional captures to ensure we get a beautiful variety of images.

Known Photoshoot & Surprise Proposal!

 (Your partner knows about the photoshoot, but not the proposal)

  • Before the day: We’ll discuss and set a time and location for your couples’ photoshoot, so you’ll know exactly where to find me.
  • On the day: We’ll move at a relaxed pace and ease into the session with some beautiful portrait shots. When the moment is right, I’ll position you in an open space, and give you a cue.
  • Your proposal: At that point, you’ll get down on one knee, and ask your partner to turn around. Share a few heartfelt words and drop to one knee. Hold this pose longer than usual so I can move closer and capture all the magic as it unfolds.
  • After your proposal: I may suggest a quick re-enactment or additional captures to ensure we get a beautiful variety of images.

The Process

On the day

  • Eat well & stay hydrated
  • Arrive a few minutes early
  • Relax: I’ll provide gentle guidance to help you feel comfortable, so take a deep breath and relax because you’re in excellent hands
  • Trust the process: I’ve got you covered!

After your session

  • Proof Editing: After your session, I’ll carefully select and proof-edit your images for your initial gallery viewing. You’ll be invited to view your online gallery typically within 1-2 weeks (or up to 4 weeks for weddings)
  • Choose your favourites: You’ll have a week to make your final selections and submit your order form
  • Final Editing: Once received, I’ll complete any additional editing required to support the clean and timeless aesthetic that defines my work (such as removing people from the background)

Digitals & Prints

  • Downloads: Once the final editing is finished, you’ll receive a link to download your favourite images from the comfort of your home
  • Print Options: Experience the joy of seeing your memories in print. Available via the same gallery platform and affordably priced to ensure you have access to fully calibrated, exceptional-quality art. Delivered worldwide

Preparation Guide

What to bring

  • Your smile – Your happy, relaxed smile makes all the difference!
  • Water bottle – Being photographed can be thirsty work

What not to bring

  • Mobile phones – I know it’s tempting to snap your own photos, but putting phones away helps us stay focused on capturing those genuine moments (and avoids pocket outlines!)

Optional Extras

  • Touch-up supplies – Great for longer sessions
  • Props – Feel free to bring special items like baskets, bikes, surfboards, flowers, or champagne! (I prefer to skip balloons for environmental reasons, but if they’re important to you, we can make it work)

Additional Information

How Many Photos Will I see?

  • Photo Quantity: I take lots of photos during your session to ensure I capture a variety of moments, and so that you have the opportunity to choose what you love!
  • Image Selection Process: While I photograph extensively, I deliver only the best images, typically 2 to 3 times more than your package minimum
  • Quality Standards: I carefully remove duplicates, blurry shots, and anything that doesn’t meet my quality standards. You can expect approximately 60 high-quality images per hour of coverage

Compliment Your Collection With Printed Products


While your package includes digital files, I highly recommend complementing your collection with printed products. There’s something truly special about seeing your memories come to life tangibly—whether it’s a fine art print on the wall or a handcrafted album you can flip through with loved ones. All items are produced by my trusted professional labs using archival materials to ensure stunning color, sharp detail, and lasting quality, and drop-shipped to your nominated address

What Happens Next?

  • Your Details: Please provide your phone number and complete the contract and questionnaire before your session. This simple step helps me prepare for our time together and ensures everything runs smoothly!
  • Before Your Session: 
    • If you’ve booked with Noosa Picnics, they will confirm the time and location with you directly. I’ll work with them behind the scenes to make sure I’m aligned with the plan. Don’t worry—I’ll be there early, waiting for you to arrive
    • If you’re not using Noosa Picnics, we’ll schedule a quick chat to make sure I don’t spoil any surprises and plan the best approach to suit your vision
  • Running late? Just send me (or if you booked through Noosa Picnics – them) a quick text! I allow a 20-minute grace period after our scheduled start time. After this, a $25 late fee applies. If I haven’t heard from you by then, the session will be cancelled and the reservation fee forfeited
  • Turn Up and Have Fun! Whether you’re camera-shy or natural in front of the lens, take a deep breath and relax — you’re in excellent hands!
